“This series seeks to introduce the content of the books of the New Testament with a view to providing a basis for further reading and study. The primary focus is on the message of each book within its particular historical-cultural setting, with some attention being given to its contribution to the theology of the New Testament as a whole. Selected critical issues are also dealt with.
Rikki E. Watts is Associate Professor of New Testament at Regent College. He is author of a recently published book on the use of Isaiah in the Gospel of Mark entitled Isaiahs New Exodus and Mark.”
